Meet Eddie
Eddie Farah is a Director and Consultant Physiotherapist at The Addison. He brings more than two decades of experience in elite sport, complex injury management and workplace health, with a reputation as a leader within the physiotherapy profession.
Since graduating in 2000, Eddie has worked across high-performance environments including Australian Rugby Union, the NSW Waratahs and the NSW and Australian Touch Football teams. He then spent twenty years with the South Sydney Rabbitohs as Head Physiotherapist, guiding injury management and return-to-play decisions within an elite professional setting. This experience has shaped a treatment philosophy grounded in clarity, collaboration and long-term outcomes.
Eddie is also a pioneer in workplace health. In 2011 he founded In Touch Physiotherapy, a national provider of onsite injury prevention and rehabilitation services designed to reduce workplace risk and improve employee wellbeing. The company has grown to work with major organisations including Qantas and continues to expand its footprint across a range of industries.
His key areas of interest include exercise rehabilitation, chronic and complex presentations and injuries that require strategic long-term planning. Eddie understands the broader pressures that sit around injury, performance and lifestyle and aims to help people move better, work better and live with confidence.
Eddie is recognised as a trusted voice in concussion management within sports medicine. He recently presented as a keynote speaker at the 2025 Safe Sport Conference, sharing practical insights into how concussion is recognised and managed beyond theory and into real sporting environments.
Beyond his own clinical work, Eddie continually invests in the development of his teams. He leads in-services, provides ongoing mentoring and supports clinicians through the refinement of their skills, ensuring high standards of care across each clinic.
Outside the clinic, Eddie is a proud dad of two and a lifelong local who grew up in Enmore, just down the road from The Addison. His strong connection to the area drives his commitment to providing high-quality care for the people who live and work here, supporting local families, athletes and the wider community.
