Meet Steve
Steve Velovski is the Director and Senior Physiotherapist at The Addison. He brings an expert and practical approach to care and enjoys helping people of all ages move confidently and live well.
Steve has worked with the South Sydney Rabbitohs since 2009, supporting players across the NRL and NYC squads through injury, rehabilitation and performance demands. His time in this environment has shaped how he thinks about rehabilitation, with a focus on clear communication, teamwork and steady progress. Earlier in his career he worked with St George and Sydney Olympic in the NSW Premier League, caring for athletes at competitive and community levels.
He first completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science before going on to study a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Steve has continued to learn and refine his practice through internationally recognised training, including pelvic and thoracic coursework with LJ Lee, Level 2 Sports Physiotherapy and multiple dry needling programs. He has also completed the SportsMap Hip and Groin Rehabilitation Course and the SportsMap Advanced Upper Limb Rehabilitation in Sport Course, both widely regarded within the profession for their practical and evidence-based frameworks.
Steve has a particular interest in shoulder injuries, hip and groin presentations and helping people return to the activities they enjoy. Whether a client is preparing for competition, returning to work or looking to stay active with their family, he prioritises realistic plans, meaningful education and a supportive environment.
Outside the clinic, Steve is a proud dad of two and a long-time Inner West local. He understands the importance of finding solutions that fit real life and community, and takes pride in caring for the people who live in the same neighbourhoods he has grown up in.
