Ben is our Senior Physiotherapist and has an extensive background in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.


Ben was involved with the South Sydney Rabbitohs system for 4 years as Head Physiotherapist for both the U17’s and U19’s squads. In his time at the club, he also assisted the medical team with the NRL squad. Prior to this, he worked with football teams Canterbury Bankstown FC and Rockdale City Suns in the National Premier League.


He has continued his professional development by completing courses - Athletic Groin Pain Symposium, Upper Limb Rehabilitation in Sport and Mastering Lower Limb Tendinopathy as well as dry needling courses.


He has a special interest in the treatment of complex hamstring and acute lower limb injuries. Ben believes that everybody is an athlete in their own right and therefore each individual should receive the same level of expertise and ongoing care like that of a professional athlete.

At The Addison, our sports medicine service provides specialist medical assessment and management of musculoskeletal and exercise-related injuries. Our Sport and Exercise Physicians are medical doctors with advanced training in diagnosing and treating injuries across all activity levels, from developing athletes to active adults throughout the Inner West.


They manage acute injuries, overuse conditions, joint and tendon pain, and exercise-related medical concerns. When appropriate, they can arrange diagnostic imaging, oversee medication management, and perform ultrasound-guided injections such as corticosteroid and PRP, along with other evidence-based regenerative therapies where indicated.


Care is coordinated across our physiotherapy, massage therapy, strength and conditioning, and dietetics teams to ensure your plan is aligned, progressive, and easy to understand.

    Yes. Pregnancy massage is safe when performed by trained therapists. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or specific medical concerns, check with your GP or maternity care provider first.

  • When can I start having pregnancy massage?

    You can generally begin from the second trimester onward. If you’d like support earlier, we can adapt positioning and treatment based on medical guidance.

  • What are the benefits of pregnancy massage?

    It can help reduce muscle tension, ease back and hip discomfort, improve circulation, support sleep, and promote relaxation throughout pregnancy.

  • How is pregnancy massage different from regular massage?

    Positioning, pressure, and techniques are adjusted to ensure safety and comfort for both mother and baby. Support cushions and side-lying positions are used as needed.

  • Can pregnancy massage help with lower back or leg pain?

    Yes. Pregnancy massage can help reduce strain on the lower back, hips, pelvis, and legs as your posture changes throughout pregnancy.

  • What if I have a high-risk pregnancy?

    We can still support you, but we’ll work alongside your GP or maternity care provider to ensure treatment is appropriate and safe for you.
